Can anybody guide me as how to import, distribute and establish Indian Spices into Canada? I have got a quality supplier of Spices from Gujarat, India.

Right now I am outside Canada and will have my Canadian PR after 6 or 8 months. This is a platform I am preparing before I land. Please give your offer.

Well before you come make sure that you have a right supplier and right contacts as here everything is available which you can think of , so obviously you will be having a competition.

What king of spices are you planning to bring.

To get a liciense is very easy here as long as they permit because recently I heard that they put a banned on indian flour and rices due to some reason.

check the market and price before you enter in.

The Indian spices which I plan is of different types of grounded chilly powder, turmeric, sambhar, tea masala, kadhi masala, etc.. Supplier is our relative and quality wise they are very famous in Gujarat. In short, I will have whole kitty of spices which is required by Indian families and now WHITES too prefer that.

I just wanted to know from you (if you spare little time for me) is that what is the retail price going in market now with packing (in terms of grams or kilos). This I need to calculate the freight and import duty and get ready before I come.
