want to move in brampton so want to know abt places in brampton such as lots of indian stores at 1 place and have apt on the indian stores such as:

albion & islington
gerrard street

i have lived in brampton for a little while and found few indian stores near kennedy and queens, kennedy and bovaird.
there is a big indian grocery shop near shoppers' world. near to live near kennedy road. we found it easy to commute thru brampton transit.

This all area, you mentioned, is littel India. (Some years hence) you will be asking if there is any 'Gora' store in the area...

Can u post the names of the grocery stores.

I know one near the Bramlea city center (Asian food something) but it is pricy compared to Indian groceries in Scarborough.

When I used to live in Brampton the best place for Indian groceries is at West Drive and Clark - called Om India Groceries (905-452-1100) very nice clean decent and resonably priced store. I have moved to Scarborough now and am very happy with Patel's Cash & Carry. Please share your knowledge if you know any other reasonably priced stores in Scarborough.

you are asking about Desi stores in Brampton known as Browntown, Bramladesh with an area popularly called Singhdale (w)rapped up in there somewhere....? Come on, yaar!

Anyway, there is one called Golden Groceries at Charolais and McLaughlin, just a kiss away from Shopper's World, aka Shoplifter's world- after the recent shooting there. Check out the names of their aisles. It's not aisle one aisle two but actually bear the names of streets and crescents in the vicinity.
There is an Indian veggie take-out food place in the same strip( no, no, not that) mall, an Indian meat joint, A Hakka Chinese place, a pub, a convenience store, a Pizzaville run by Desis...

Yes Patel Cash and carry behind the TD bank is really good , great prices..
