Hi,
I had gone for a vacation to London, Uk for 8 days.
Upon returning I was question by the CBSA / immigration
what I had gone to do to London even though I mentioned to them it was for vacation.
Whether I was employed here. After leaving immigration, another officer just as you leave the counter started asking which field and where I work. Upon giving the name of the organisation he answered back that he had not heard of that organisation.
Is this line of questioning within the rights of the department? and what if one doesnt have a job? are permanent residents not eligiable to reenter canada?
cheers.
