Hello,

I'm looking for QA jobs in GTA. I have 4 years of experience in US. I see a lot of job posting from CNC and Procom on Workopolis and Monster. I have heard that things always work better with referrals. Does anyone have any contacts at these two places. I will glad if someone can refer me or give me some leads.

Hi guys..

I too am looking for entry level QA job.
I have good understanding of SDLC and have 2 years of developement experience in client/server programming in VB/Oracle.

I have recently done a QA course covering manual testing and tools (QTP, Winrunner). Done a project on manual testing in which developed Test cases, executed and reported bugs.

My wife is contemplating a course in QTP, QA ....... Can anyone please guide us through this process. The institutes, experiences with any of them, jobs availability. She has previous experience in web page designing ( nothing much as she was soon after busy at home soon taking care of our newly born son) and has also worked with Datamatics in India for qualitative checks and tagging......

Hi IceBerg..

If your wife will get co-op placement after the course that will be a good start for her. QTP seems to be in very much demand nowadays. There is a international certification in testing called as 'ISTQB Foundation Level Tester'.
It can be done here in Toronto and might add good value to your QA resume.
It costs 300$ and one can easily pass this exam after studying for 3-4 weeks.
