Hi,
My post above was dated when I had my first driving lesson with this guy. Looking back, I wouldn't recommend this guy to you anymore. What he did was terrible - he booked me for the Road test at the most stringent test location, Point Gray. I found the examiners were rude and intimidating and as a first time driver (never drove in India), I was bound to fail the test. Repeatedly, he took me there and after 4 failed attempts I found he was just minting money off me. The more I failed, the more I took lessons from him, and hence made him richer by couple of hundred bucks. I was new, didn't know anyone, noone guided me, and never drove a car before in my life. He knew that the location had a low passing rate and on top of it closer to the Broadway corridor, which is often at times clogged with traffic. Later I learned, he could've booked me at Richmond, Burnaby, or Surrey. Anyhow, long story short - I don't recommend you to him.
If you can spend some money then there's nothing like 'Young Drivers'. They are professionals, teach you the intricacies of Canadian driving, which will help in a long run. However, if you're only looking for a lesson or two before the test, then you can Google and go with anyone.
My 2 cents.
