Where to reply ??
I filed my immigration under the cataegory "Network Engineer"
Also ASK if you have any SPECIFIC questions ??
Remember one thing which will definitely help you :
Person taking your interview might not be a computer person . Mostly they see how you deliver and not what you deliver. So even if you might not know correct answer you may get away if you answer something .. They will also try to assess your suitability .
Best of luck !!
Ashwani

Hi Rupen !
I have tried my best to recall and compile the questions and answers that I went through a long time back .
Q1. Why you want to go to Canada?

I had made up my mind to go tot Canada for specifically for various reasons. It is a multinational country that allows different communities to leave together peacefully. It has reaffirmed my faith in the country as an Indian because the country will allow me to go personally as well as professionally. It is also very comforting for me that you have a multi cultural society, which is reinforced by law. This is on the personal prospective.

Secondly it is a beautiful country. It has voted as No 1 by the UN. The statistics speaks for themselves. I am nobody to add to this statistics, certainly I want to be a part of this country.

Third professionally I am in the industry, which requires certain framework, and that infrastructure is best provided by Canada at this point of time. And I know that tremendous opportunities are available in Canada. I would certainly like to belong to the country where I can develop professionally.

Q2 What are you doing currently?

Sir currently I am working with

Q3 Elaborate your job profile:

My job is to meet the corporate ventures, senior officers, organisations including government undertaken and make them understand how automation will help them. What all equipment they need to make their org more efficient.

Our turnover is ......

Our sales is steadily growing by 15-20%. I had planned increase in sales through advertisement in different media.

Due to my knowledge of Russia and expertise in technical field I was send to .......... to explain how OA is carried out.

Q4 why did you went into sales (or what were you doing prior to it?)

Sir since I did my ME in Computer sciences, when I started my career it was into Technical sales, but after coming back to India, the IT sector was right on top at that point of time, literally on boom. I felt that I could hold my technical skills so followed while I did get into absolute technical aspects. I was a technical hand in N/W. But it didn’t took long for the company to realize that I am a better Business development person and eventually I got out of it. Subsequently I am a manager operations.

Q5 what kind of jobs you are expecting in Canada?

Sir basically I have a background in Computer sciences. By virtue of my training and educational background I would like to stick to the field I have studied in. I have studied the job mkt. in Canada and I see no reason why I will not be absorbed.

From various prospective I would like you to appreciate that eventually when I come to Canada my qualifications may not be at par with Canadian qualifications. I have to go through licensing procedure.

I had been given to understand that IT is equally treated internationally. I have conducted job search indirectly that is through net. I have explored various options, but my physical presence is required there to push to these job vacancies specifically.

Meanwhile I have got my friends in Canada who are trying job search but I have kept my options open. My options begin from Network Engineer to technical sales specialist, which is my present profile.

The idea is to get foothold specifically in my industry which is IT. Once I get my foot hold I will be able to look for other options for myself.

Q6 what will you do if you don’t get a job in your stream.

How you can make yourself useful to Canadian Economy?

I have studied the job market extensively, as virtually almost everything is available on net .I have studied so much that I do not understand the reason why I should not get technically absorbed in the mainstream inCanada.

I am fully confident that I will be able to do so.

In question is the hierarchy where I start. I may not start as a Manager but at a lower rank, but it is something for which I am mentally prepared for. It will make me understand the requirement of the system and equip me accordingly.

Technically I don’t see any reason why I should not be absorbed adequately. May be the Hierarchy never make me on but this is something I am not pondering on.

Q7 how are you preparing for your move to Canada?

My preparations in fact begin when I initiated my application for the decision of my life to immigrate to Canada.

My major concern is about the job. In order to understand the job market I have extensively studied it on net, but I have been not able to get direct access, as my physical presentation is utmost required. I have also contacted my friends who are there, they have given me a lot of feedback and contact points but all of them are insisting to clear the procedure and get there to understand the technical requirements .

Besides the job search I am also trying to ease out my commitments in India with my company.

I am also preparing myself financially. I understand that there are certain financial transactions have to take place. I have reasonable funds available so I had also explored the opportunity of getting into IT ventures in Canada for which I had very informal dialogue.

Second is the job search activity

Third is preparing myself to get out.

Q8 WHY Toronto?

After all the studies that I have conducted I had been given to understand that my absorption will be best in Toronto or Ottawa (Ottawa is the IT Hub). I have decided to go to Toronto initially which is also an industrial hub of the country. So the kind of exposure I am looking for Toronto or Ottawa will be the best place

That was my main reason of choosing Toronto initially, besides I also hold my professional contacts in Toronto.

Q9 Conveyance me in 5 minutes why should I give you a visa?

Obviously from what I have understood about the immigration formalities I do infurred that country is conducting immigration as there is requirement for the technically qualified people.

As far as the technicalities are concerned I do meet the requirements to the deep. I fulfill all the requirements in my line of action, which is Computer Science.

I am also related to the industry which is closely related to the future. Practically eventually every industry needs an IT backup. And that is the industry that I have served in for last 06 years and.

I have a necessary technical expertise to work on international level. I already have that exposure initially. Even if it is soliciting business on international level I will be able to conduct.

As far as the parameters are concerned I have studied them well and I see no reason frankly why I should not be given this opportunity. And I do know that if I am granted this opportunity appropriately

I will be able to contribute to the economy very effectively

My professional background. I even go personally. I have got a sound financial background. I can even contribute by setting up a business, which will be of course IT related. I will be in perfect position to do that, b cos I am carrying around 60,000 USD .

So I see no reason why my application should not be considered positively.

Q10. How much do you know about Canada?

As far as I know, Canada is one of the G8 countries, and Canada has the largest land Mess in the world, the capital city is Ottawa.

It is a democratic country. it has got bi- legislate.

The executive head is the Prime Minister. It has got 10 provinces and 3 territories.

Her national flag is red and white with a maple leaf in the center, which is very beautiful.

Canada has the most developed social health and education systems in the world.

The population is slightly over 30 million people.

It is the second largest country in the world.

She also has the highest living standards in the world, as it has been awarded "The best country to live in" by the United Nations for the past couple of years.

Once Akbar organised a painting contest . Very few came forward ( 20 % ) and painted what they could . The rest 80 % attended and put a dot atleast somewhere on paintings inidicating mistakes ..
But when these experts who found out mistakes and put several dots were asked to make a painting out of their dots THEY COULD NOT ..
The messsage was CLEAR ...
