Is any body is a member of South Asian Professional Networking Association?

I joined their mailing list, but I am not sure how active or how helpful they are. I keep getting their e-mails, which finally end up in my deleted items folder.

On a side note, have anybody got job thru networking associations like HAPPEN, or similar one in Toronto? When I was on EI, I attended their meeting, but all of the members seems to be in search of job. The HRDC guys say that it works, but does anybody have a proof?
