If your submissions are with all of the detailed facts on the project, either helping some one OR you are the primarily in charge of it and are with all of the details, then a power point may not be the format. If it was a totally new project, starting from the Ground and Up and calls for a power point presentation, your submission will call for and is there by indicated as such in your submission with materials to support the same. Your Formula used and the calculations and the results derived will be in the presentation.
At that juncture, if there are cost estimates are done and adhered to, you can also show them in the same format. So, all of the sensitive materials will be in your possession and will be available only in a display mode at the presentation.
Any trials and subsequent run of the equipment with readings and fine tuning of the same will be in your possession as LOG sheets. Plus this detail that you have on you will be to your personal benefit and will also indicate your abilities in its start up and the methods you used in arriving at those sensitive tuning of the project to derive the designed efficiency. In furtherance you can stand behind this project and claim that it has been running at a steady state for a very long period at that location without any problems or any incidences during that time period.
A few can reproduce the same from their memory banks and a few can produce documents to back their claim and a few can also show from the financial statements or Balance Sheets to prove their efficiency. The choice is yours, as most of us will lack a lot of details about these, so, see how you can get over it. Because no one expects to uproot themselves to a distant location and after arriving here, once again trying to settle down and seek an entry into a New Professional Group. And perchance you do not come upto their expectations, then get back to basics or for that matter to a drawing board to start all over again.
Now, you are at this specific point in your career which I will name it as a predicament point. Please see how you can get over it with a little bit of tact. You need to work a lot harder this time to stand up be counted as a worthy candidate.
