I wonder what this has to do AT ALL with Sreesanth being Hindu, not sure why religion is being brought up here.

I'm going to write to this ahole reporter, I suggest other CD's too.

While starting at his run up he sometime touches his chest with his hand & then kisses it . It loooks like he is making a cross , a practice most christians use. That is the confusion most people have about him being a hindu or a christian. That is what the reporter has mentioned.
I dont agree with his actions sometimes but Sreesanth has surely rattled the Australians. It is good tactic.
They are all looking forward to his trip to Australia. It surely will be exciting.

What the reporter is suggesting is basically Symonds should smack him in the face. And he's bringing religion into it after saying Sreesanth should thank his Gods Symonds is not.

Unacceptable as far as I'm concerned, this is a legit sports news site, not a personal blog.

It was about time someone did that! If he can back it up with efficient bowling, all the power to him. He might just start a trend in other teams and take away Australia's key advantage.

Only if he can back it up with the bowling. So far he could not. It looks Funny at times. He gets carried away.
I think what Uthappa & Dhoni did in last 5 overs would be the perfect Aggressive Answer. Ponting & his team had no clue. By the time it was over - required damage was done. Indian Team scored 20 in last over & 10 in last 2 balls. Australian Team needed 16 in last over & 10 in last 2 balls.

He does carried away a bit. Even in England he had a few nasty incidents. Like when he shouldered Vaughan. That was not required and was not in good taste.
But his antics against Australia has made them change their focus. Last few days all they have been talking is about him. So if he can make them take their "eyes off the ball"it is a good startegy. Indian team has also done well to take him off in the last match, will get him to focus on his bowling. He has the potential to back his actions with his bowling so he should concetrate on that also. Best of luck to him.

This is the best way to respond to Australia....straight from the horse's mouth.
