Hi.
My sister had put up the file in July 2001. Later on in Sept 2001, she got a letter telling her that she'll be called for interview within 6 months. No news as of today. She has written letters and tried to communicate with the Can Hi Commi, N Delhi, no response whatsoever. E-client status on the website never changes.
I've heard that if nothing happens before March 2003, she has to requalify as per new point system.
Do you have any idea why her file is kinda forzen. what are the chances of getting thru before march 2003?
Please advise.
Dear friend,
Our immigration expert seems to be enjoying christmas vacation. Please wait for couple of days.
Thanks

Dear guju
New Delhi timelines are atrociously long. It is very unlikely that her application will be finalised before March 2003. She will be processed as per the transition provisions.

Hi Massood. Thanks for your reply. Does this mean that she'll have to wait till Can. Hi asks her to requalify as per new point system?
No, she'll get a decision based on new law.
