HI All,

I have sponsored my inlaws in Jan 2008. Doc requested on Nov 2011. Doc submitted on )5FEb 2012. Ackowledgement letter send on End of March 2012. Waiting for further reply. I have 2 friends whose file has been submitted after us and their file has been x'fered to OTTAWA and requested for medical.

Hence we decide to call the CIC custome service and agent said that our file has been x'fer to delhi but i am very surpried that we did not receive ant letter or email and also my online status shows Application Received.

Can people let me know who file has been xfer to New Delhi will get acknowledgement letter or email?. What is their online status?

I just got my CAIPS notes and noticed my email was incorrect in there, so even if they sent me a confirmation!!!!!!!!

However, I sent IM5476 so hopefully they update with that information now

I see lot of worriedness from those whose parents sponsorship applications have been transferred to New Delhi for further processing instead of Ottawa.
Looking at the positive side, I would like to have opinions on following points.
I see a lot of incorrect / inconsistent information and processing activities in CIC recently since after they stopped accepting new applications and launched this pilot project of clearing sponsorship file backlogs.

Point 1
Processing times for parents files (after received by ND) shows 31-32 months on their website.

Point 2
I received COR (Confirmation of Receipt) from ND in 35 days from the day it was transferred from CPC-M. The letter itself mentions the timeline of 90 days for COR. This letter also mentions total processing time of 43 months. This is also does not match with the time they have posted on the website (point 1). Now this is a good sign.. I am sure you all have received some communication from ND in 1-2 months from the transfer date.

Looking forward to the positive side, I expext the total processing time much lesser than 43 months, may be around 15-18 months ?
