it tooks 11 months

Congratulations! Thats a great news

I have the same time line for my mom.
Applied: Aug 2007
Medicals and passport: Dec 2011

Still waiting to hear from them. No updates on the online status
Medicals are expired now. Checked with MP's office in Nov 2012 and they said that they are waiting for the background check to complete.

I am so much anxious with them having the passport for more than a year.

That is not good. Have you tried inquiring Delhi office directly?

Thanks Blue_Peafowl!! They mailed me asking for RPRF payment, I sent them proof of payment 2 weeks ago...

How long does it take after this step, any idea? In your case how long did it take after RPRF?

i paid right after they received medical....

to be on safe side... pay one more time and send them proof - couple of hundred dollar doesn't hurt.. u can ask them back once ur file completed.

if they asked u for payment means they are ready to issue PR - do it without delay

After submitting proof of payment , I got email in a week requesting for passport and latest photograph submission. Thanks
