Hi,
I am a permanent resident of Canada, who applied for citizenship in November 2002. I then got married in December 2002. My husband is an H1 visa holder, working in US. In Feb 2003, I applied for an H4 visa & joined my husband in US. In August 2003, I returned to Canada to continue my studies. In September 2003, I attended my citizenship test, and am awaiting my letter to attend the Oath ceremony.
I have two questions.
1) I would like to sponsor my husband for his Canadian immigration, under the family class category. Since I have no income, will my application be rejected?
2) After I become a citizen, and get the Canadian passport, can I stay in US as a visitor, without a visa? If so, for how long? Or will I have to apply for a new H4 visa to go to US to stay with my husband?
Thank you for taking time to answer my queries.

- U CAN SPONSOR NOW. U DO NOT NEED INCOME.

- U SHOULD SEEK ADVICE FROM A US IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY. PROBABLY, POSSIBLE FOR U TO STAY WITH YOUR H1 HOLDING SPOUSE.
