Digital photo prints .

I have to get some 100 digital photos printed . I was wondering if its better in terms of quality to get this done in India or Canada (if one is visiting India).

If in Canada which of the following stores have good results and should there be any requests to be made to the printing lab guy .

Walmart
Staples
Atlantic Superstore (Loblaws)
Futureshop

Futureshop was one of the best...but not sure now...

blacks is good...as far as I know...

Did u try costco..they have/had some sort of promotion going on now..

I ve never been to Costco as I am not a member . I will check out on Futureshop & Staples . Black is expensive. Will post my experience.

I have always used Black ... it is expensive a bit, but paper Quality is I think a lot better than other. Besides, you can send them Digital Pics online & pick it up later (this service might be available somewhere else as well).

If u need long life..opt for matte prints or else glossy...

Check shoppers too...

loblaws print was good..
Heard futureshop quality has gone down...

I don't think there's any difference now a days in print quality between India and here. If you are going to Delhi, then there are really good photostudios that have adapted the computerised digital printing . In South Delhi, Green Park, Greater Kailash, Sarojini Nagar, Vasant Kunj, Lajpat Nagar - all have a good photo studios. I got mine developed in India and was very happy with the results.

If you can wait for 20 days thn I would suggest to get this job done at Kodak, USA. The quality of prints in the best.. and much cheaper thn any Canadian shop. On the top of that they have around 25% discount going on now a days. and when you creat an album and upload your photos at kodak ( free and private) thn you will get additional savings. Their website is very good to share and store your photos for FREE. I am using them since last 3 years.
