Did anyone in this forum used Kia Rio RS. I am planning to get one and would like feedback about the reliability of this car.
Can anyone suggest some other low priced new car
Thanks in advance

Nobody advised you yet!!
I guess none of the desis have this car.
If you are looking for cheap corean car, I think Hundai should be good compare to KIA. From Americans Chevy are good cheap cars.
I am not auto-expert, just my personal opinion.

You can also get a lot of car-specific info on the net. User-ratings, expert reviews etc. One such site would be http://www.carpoint.ca." rel="nofollow">LINK
I'm sure you'll find many more if you search in google.
As a rule of thumb, most desis will not go for a car like Rio. The popular cars are Toyota (Camry and Corolla) and Honda (Accord and Civic). Both Honda and Toyota have an impeccable record as far as reliability and resale value go.
If you're buying brand new, generally all cars are ok. But if you're buying used, Japanese are the best and logest-lasting.

Are you there?
Don't Buy Kia or Hyundai!!! Their Resale value isn't worth anything. They also tend to have high maintainance costs. Stick to the tried and tested i.e Toyota and Honda. Nissans are always a good choice too with their Hybrid Fuel system.

Kia and Hundai are good with manual Transmission and in fact you can buy a brand new Kia (Manual) within USD 6000
There is no way Hundai/Kia can be compared with Honda/Nissan/Toyota
as there is still a substantial price difference
If someone is looking for a new low budget car then obviously Hundai will be a better choice.Hundai Elantra latest model is quite good and better than most of the low budget American car.Otherwise Nissan Sentra 2004 1.8 S is a very nice looking model with a great price
If you are looking for a used car still I would go for a low milage Hundai car rather than a very high milage Toyota/Honda/Nissan car .Resell price might not need to be considered always before buying a used car.Everything depend on how long you are planning to drive the used car and definately you should be looking for less trouble during that period
One of my friend in US bought a Hundai car with 30,000 Mile at a very low price , he enjoyed balance Warrenty and after one and half year driving he was able to sell it at a good price. My other friend bought a 1990 Honda Civic with 130 k mile on it at a same price and now not able to sell it at even a low price and always had reagular maintainance issue
SO CONSIDER MILAGE ALSO AS A FACTOR BEFORE BUYING A USED CAR
Cheers
