I am going for my Canadian citizenship swearing-in ceremony on 11 March.

Can anyone pls tell me how long it takes to get a passport after that as I need to do some Business travel..

If in the GTA , it will take you 3 weeks max. and if it is outside the GTA, max. of 2 weeks (10 business days).
The process is now so simple. Any person having the Canadian passport (even your spouse) can sign for you and there is no check of references at all (may vary in the GTA. I am speaking for offices outside the GTA like London etc...)
If you donot have any person to sign for you, I shall be glad to sign for you.

could you please let me know the time line for your application.when did you apply,date of exam and from which city as we applied in aug,2007 from mississauga,gave test on 18th of feb and now waiting for the oath.
