Hello,
I am on a work permit presently till end of this year. My work permit can be extended for one more year.
I would like to apply for my PR here, do i have to follow the simplified application process or the regular application process. I think it would be regular application process as i have arranged employment.
Any comments ?
thanks,

Hi,
Presently I am in Hamilton, Ontario on a work permit. Been here for last three months , have my work permit for a year presently.
Can I apply for PR from Buffalo ?
I already have Hsrdc clearance for my job.
When do I have to submit my police clearance certificate ? Is it at the time of submission of the PR forms or later ?
Is it right that i will be requiring police clearance from canada, and also will I need police clearance from India as well ?
Any help in these matters is appreciated.
Regards,
Jetflash.
Hi,
I am happy for you. Carry on smartly there and hold on to the post. If
you have the clearance, then you have one crossed the first hurdle.
Cross them one at a time.
Yes that will be the right location to mail to. Also call them and have a talk.
Buffalo, will be the nearest (The Only One) location for you.
They might not ask for one. If they need one they will inform you
about it. So, cross the bridge when you come to it. In short, please
wait for them to tell you.
That is affirmative, both for India and Canada.
Also see the guide that they provide you with the application papers
or on the website, for the same.
Good Luck.
Freddie
one more thing i want to clarify, buffalo is a great place to apply for your PR, we did apply via buffalo - we were one of the lucky couple that our interview for PR was waived due to education and work experience of my husband and in the other hand one of my friend was called for interview in Buffalo and his back luck was that his visit visas for the US was declined and he has to transfer his application from Buffalo to Kenya office as he is from Africa and has to wait another 2 yrs from there.
So better make sure you will be able to get a visit visas for the US in worst case they called you for interview. When we applied for PR, we were around 4 friends, one got rejected, 2 of them got interview in Buffalo and thanks God we were exempted of it.
Wish you the best for your application
