Thanks for all your support.

Unfortunately my husbands visit visa application was rejected.
We did all you both had suggested, including air ticket and insurance.

The only reason they gave is as I am Canadian, they were sure my husband would not return back from Canada!


In fact they recommended that the only way he could come to Canada was through spousal immigration!!! All we wanted was a month together in Canada, we don't intend to live here!

Anyways, thanks for all your help, I really appreciate your time and patience.

Hi,

Lot of people first get a U.S.Visa and then apply for a visitors' Visa to see Canada. But he has to be in USA first. Then take a chance to obtain the Canadian Visa. If it does not work out then you will have to go to States to keep some company there.
Does this suit your plan and requirements?

If so, then try that route.
