Does anyone knows whats the procedure for a senior citizen to acquire Canadian citizenship?
Since they are exempt from the test, do they get invited to the oath ceremony directly?
or
do they have to meet an interview judge?
And finally, is the timeline for Citizenship relatively shorter for senior citizens in Toronto as compared to "young" aspirants

So I am trying to find out how it works in their case.....do they just get a call for oath ceremony or need to face a judge
and how long it takes overall
curiously, I never received any further feedback as to what is procedure for seniors.
Someone's parents must have gone thru this so come on folks
Persons 55 years of age or older do not have to write the citizenship test. After they submit the application, they are scheduled to go to the local office for a review of the original documents (personal identification, immigration
documents, etc.) they submitted with their application and of their passport and/or travel documents relevant to the four year period preceding their application. They may also be scheduled to appear for a personal
interview with a citizenship judge.
If they meet the requirements for citizenship, local citizenship office lets them know when and where to go to attend a citizenship ceremony.
