I applied in first week of August and got the acknowledgement back in Sepetmber last week but after that no communications.

Looks like they are really backed up ...

Here is my timeline of my citizenship process!!!

We received your application for grant of Canadian citizenship (adult) on March 30, 2004.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application, and a study book called A Look at Canada on March 30, 2004.

We started processing your application on June 08, 2004.

Your file was transferred on November 18, 2004 to the Woodbridge office for the citizenship testing and taking of the citizenship oath. The Woodbridge office will contact you to write the Citizenship test.

Got letter on 3rd Dec that my citizenship test is on 17th december.
