Hi All,

Pls let me know if i want to take my SONY DVD player (Working on 110-240v also) with me from India to Canada, is there any custom or not as i am migrating first time in the last week of May.

No customs on anything for the first time immigrants ..

anytime after even, i am pretty sure they won't even look at ur DVD player. Unless you smuggle anything in it..just kidding.

So don't worry while traveling anything like that now-a-days.

What format does your DVD player support - NTSC, PAL or both. Here in NA we have NTSC.

As an FYI WalMart sells DVD players for $30, so DVD players is the last thing the customs will look at.

Do the Customs guys in Indian Airports bother to check baggages nowadays ?
