Ummmmm I dont know which history book ur reading. Rama was born as a prince, Mahavira was born a prince, Krishna a prince, Buddha a prince and so on. Actually in Indian history, most of these ppl. were born in high class and actually went through things as simple ppl where they performed feats etc...

Babail..I never knew Krishna was born a prince ? Well yes..He may have been a prince had His dad, Vasudev, was not imprisoned. When he was born, Kansa was the king...and Krishna was Vasudev's son..Thus *technically* Krishna was not born a prince..
However, the others were indeed born as princes !
