Can a canadian born kids travel to US by road on expired PP ??
Any experiences ??

Hello,
There is no need for a Canadian passport for a child to cross the border.
All that a child needs is a Canadian birth certificate. This applies to crossing by the road only.
As an additional safety precaution, Donot forget to carry your child's expired passport with you (for Photo Id purposes in case any border guard is paranoid about desi's). Hope you know that you need an authorisation from the father or mother of the child who is not travelling along with the child while you cross the border to USA. If both parents accompany this child across the border, no such authorization letter is needed

No issues. Just carry some other form of id along. We did that last year. Went to US by road, from there onto Mexico and back to US by road on expired pp's, but with citizenship cards too.
