Tried as suggested in morning for several days but could get thru..
However, got it between 12:00 noon and 2:30 PM EST.
Suggested same to others and most of them got it around the same time.
Cheers!
As of August 13 2008 i found appointment for ottawa available around 11:30AM, 3:45 - 4:00PM and between 7:30pm - 11:00pm. You need to select quickly before it gets vanished. I am unable to find for moterial or torronto probably most busiest ones. please don't try to call them as they charge $32.00 and they looking same nvars system online for appointment and its not helping either.
I would say keep browser open 24 hours a day and try every minute or 2 min which is better for you which increase chance of getting appointment.
Good Luck.
For an NVARS booking in Toronto, this is what I did -
1. leave the window open on your computer and keep refreshing it regularly, say every 1/2 hour or so.
2. some time during the day - usually around 3:30 pm or so, you'll find an appointment.
Hope this helps.

Although I paid extra, I think it's worth it, rather than going to Ottawa, etc.

I want the cultures of all the lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible.
But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any.
I have entered the 2nd set of 3 years on my H1B and I am trying to get it stamped (for the second time) in Canada..
The website has changed quite a bit. There is captcha and there are no buttons on the calander day. Yesterday, I stayed up from 9pm to 7 in the morning. sleeping with a cell-phone on a repeat every half hour alarm mode and I couldn't get an appointment in Ottawa or anywhere else..
The captcha is frickin annoying.. I wish I could just referesh the window like last time....
Any luck guys... I don't mind getting an appointment in Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto or even Halifax !
All of them are sort of drivable from Albany, NY......
Any idea about the smaller ones like Quebec city and Halifax.. they any good ?
Thanks
