Hi!
I need some advise on this....
1)I filed immigration papers for my wife...on 21st april 08....did not submit the photographs in error....here in canada.
2)CHC,new delhi asked for the photographs.......of marriage. My wife did send a few photographs.........but seems CHC,new delhi is not getting covinced of it as a genuine marrage...!!! (The marriage was very simple with very few relatives)
3) CHC,new delhi called my wife and asked a few questions around marriage....and now wants a letter explaining....why marriage was kept simple ?
what shud we do here ? is it possible that CHC,new delhi can reject the marriage.......? what are my options here ?
Advise/suggestion will be of great help.
Regards,
Anup
Ask your wife in India to meet with some one in the legal authority to view them, attest them, if they are in a position to do it, then re submit them to the CHC in India and ask them to review your case in the new light of things. Please explain the abridged version of the wedding conducted there and the dearth of people there in.
Please provide them with details of those individuals in the pictures with addresses and contact details, such as phone numbers etc.,
Also get the same set of pictures, since they are in digital mode, and carry them to your local MP in Ottawa and explain to him the situation and also leave the same with an explanation, the one submitted there in India, at his constituent's office for his files. Please ask him to recommend that your sponsorship be approved and that it is not a marriage of convenience or a bogus one. Please explain to him the set of circumstances and the current plight of your application for sponsorship.
It might take a long period to resolve, as the investigations might delay the application or even derail it temporarily. But you might be able to revive it ultimately.
Good Luck.
Freddie.
