I am looking for the Internet service without the home telephone line. What are the best and the cheapest options avaiable in Toronto? I will appreciate inputs from the fellow CDs.
Other option may be "Rogers" if you have a cable TV provided they offer services in your area ,,

Technically you can have cable internet without cable TV from Rogers. I have just internet service not cable TV. I am having this service from past 4 years.
If you are looking for DSL then you can try yak.ca or Bell sympatico. Both provide dry DSL. Which means you'll have regular phone line sans dial tone. You wont be able to make any phone calls, you'll have only internet service. You can research more here:

TekSavvy Inc is another provider but I am not sure if they provide dry DSL. They definitely provide regular DSL service.
Thanks for your suggestions. For dry loop DSL there is an additional charge of $10 approx. Cable seems to be a better option. Is there is any other cable Internet provider in Toronto who is cheaper than Rogers?
