Hi Jyoti,
Your Welcome and Good Luck to you also.
for people going to the west coast ( Vancuover / Calgary ) it would be cheaper vide Singapore Airlines Singapore - tokyo - Vancuover route. for people on the east coast i guess air canada with its trans arctic flight (thats what i heard) is the fastest & cheapest option.
Indian Guy - Be it 2002 or 2004 or 2006 the aunties on Air India will always accompany the Maharaja . ... they are beyond comparision.
this is an intersting article and do put in some more interesting replies on this topic.
anyways happy flying.

These coming months are going quite heavy on most airlines. Air Canada has apparently increased their rates and are now quoting abt Rs 35000 for a one way ticket (Have increased the rates in teh last couple of days). Also seats are not so easy to get. I checked with a couple of agents and they mentioned that seats are sold out till late June .
Even Air India is having its seats full. Aparently they are offering some seats at Rs 21000 one way (Delhi-London-Toronto) with Air Canada in the second leg. However seats are very difficult to get. Even their full rate fare of Rs 32500 is not easily obtainable and in most cases you need atleast 30-45 days if you want a confirmed seat.
Would suggest to members travelling to book early. I learned it the hard way and now have to travel at a full fare ticket with AI-AC (via london).
Rajiv
