Missing Landing papers-citizenship

landing paper missing
With one of our application the landing paper is missing but attached all the rest. Does anyone know if the application will be processed? If not how can I get a missing landing paper.

You cannot apply for citizenship without RECORD OF LANDING [IMM1000]

In case of lost landing paper, you need to apply for a certified true copy of the document & they will send you a certified copy of the RECORD OF LANDING

This is the link to download all the application as well as guide. It will cost you $30 per person.

If you want to change any information on your present RECORD OF LANDING like change in your name, there is a different application "Request to Amend Your Record of Landing or your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5218)".

AND YES...............

THE CERIFIED COPY WILL TAKE 6-8 MONTHS TO COME.

I paid for both myself and my spouse, can I mail only my application once it is returned and some how separate the payment. Or will they process my application and only return my spouse application

Just called CIC and found out the application will be accepted and a request will be made at a later time for the paper. So it is best to apply and meanwhile request the necessary documents. Hope this is helpful.

How funny it is: If you applying for citizenship at CIC, you still need to get copy of landing paper from CIC. Money making machine!!!
