Landing Papper Missing

Hello All,

Please share your timeline if you have applied for a certified true copy of landing paper. I have applied in July 08 and still waiting for it. They said now its taking 33 weeks for them to send it. Did any only apply for the same?

My friend has also lost the same & has applied in mid of July'08. He hasn't got it yet.....

He was waiting for it to arrive so that he can apply for citizenship. But during October some of the members of this website has suggested me that he can go ahead with the citizenship application without the landing paper. He has send the citizenship application but hasn't received the acknowledgment letter yet.

I applied in sep 08 , still waiting ..... I don't know what to say - 33 weeks to send a certified copy

Hi,

I applied for my friend on July 6th'08. No response yet. Cic confirmed it should reach us by march 09.

My friend called CIC & they confirmed that he should recieve it my April 17th.

As I said earlier he applied in mid of July'08. So it takes around 9 months to get it after applying to get a certified copy of your landing paper i.e. around 36-40 weeks
