Futureshop/Bestbuy have prices for both camera and camera kit. When buying DSLR camera, what are the accessories you HAVE to buy that do not come with a camera?
Does buying a kit ensure that you do are not missing anything to start taking pictures?
I am just thinking of buying SLR as I am not happy with the quality of pictures of point and shoot. I bought a Sony DSCW-55 that was on sale, and it is just a waste of money. I take pictures of landscape as well as close-by objects. Zoom function does not work well for such kind of scenarios - and the accessories - adapter, zoom and wide angle lens are not cheap.
This is on sale.

Always try to buy from future shop or best buy as very easy to return, in case of any issues.
Continuing on an old thread, I would like to know reviews from recent DSLR buyers if there are any on CD.
I am interested either in Canon or Nikon brand DSLR with budget of 1000-1500 including lens.
Please advice, thanks
