Hello, my friend is moving out and he wants to sell his used furniture and other household items. Posting ads or having a garage sale are not good options for him because he hardly has any time.
Are there any shops in Toronto where he can sell (not donate) used furniture/items?
Thanks for your help.

For best responses , try Craigslist / Kijiji .... even if some used furniture shops are ready to buy and pick up also they would pay you a pittance .... and you might feel better to donate to Salvatioin Army .......
You can fix conveneint time with prospective buyers and they will pick up the furniture from your place ... What s left over towards the end advertise it for free and it will be gone in 1 day .

Fido.
Thank you for your suggestions. I will ask him to try Sulekha/Craiglist etc.
I just heard about cash converters store. They don't give cash. They give only credit which can be redeemed in their store only by any purchase. I guess even that should be fine.
Anyone had any experience with that store?
