Recently one CD posted about the LED TVs. most commercial LOW COST LED TVs are not truly LED, just EDGE lit LEDs. The cost of TRUE LED is way too high and hence even though the TVs are called LED, they are actually LCD TVs.

Please read through the specifications before deciding.

Hiren is right,

check Model Sony Bravia EX600 series its edge lits LED and cost difference between LCD EX500 and EX600 series almost $100.

2 cents from myside.

We are planning to buy Sony Bravia LCD 46" 120 hz 1080p EX500 model.

anyone have a idea about this TV or first hand experince?

Sony 40" BRAVIA EX600 Series 1080p LED TV

Can someone suggest these are ok or Samsung is better
