Hello,
I have a 2002 Honda Odyssey which I bought recently in the US. It does not come equipped with DRL. I will be importing that car/minivan in a couple of month's time. I am trying to figure out if it will cost me more to get the DRL equipment fitted in US or in Canada. When I talk to the local dealers over here they tend to create quotes out of thin air. Has anybody got their car fitted with DRL in Canada? If yes, how much did it cost and how easily is this service available? I understand that the cost will differ based on the car make and model. I am just looking to get some ballpark numbers.
Thanks,
Souvik
Go to a Cdn tire store. They can do that in few minutes. They don't put a DRL. Instead, they add another wiring such that your headlights turn on when the engine turns on.
Also, Cdn tire is the official retailer that RIV (Registrar of Imported Vehicles) recognises for "modifying" vehicles to Cdn requirements.
