Hi All,
Just wanna know, if anybody traveled to USA thru any of 3 Niagara borders on 24th December.
If yes, how was the traffic and how much was the wait times, i wanna get some idea, so we can plan accordingly, as we have 1.5 years old boy.
Any information will help us in deciding.
thanks!!!

Things are different this year.. For thanksgiving, there was hardly any delay compared to last year.
hi Viggy,
thanks for your comments. As Christmas is holiday time, and 4 days straight holidays, not necessary shopping time. My friends predict that it is going to be busy on 24th Decemember afternoon.
SO, wants to plan ahead if i should leave late night or early on 24th.
thanks!!
Rohit,
It depends on where you are driving from. Midnights / nights are always a good time to cross the border as there will be not much traffic at all.
If you have access to web, you can check the current status of all the 3 bridges before you cross it. There is also a radio station which broadcasts the current waiting time or you can phone a 1-800 number to find it out.. Pleae google for more infor..Rainbow bridge (Niagra falls) is the best one for crossing with the least amount of waiting time and then the next one is the peace bridge of Fort Erie. Avoid Queenston-Lweiston bridge as it is always a hasle in that bridge (but has a tim hortons midway through a traffic jam so that you can pull over and possibly relive yourself-This is from USA to Canada). From Canada to USA, Fort Erie peace bridge crossing has a Tim Hortons / Duty free shop midway and access to washrooms.
Another Good idea is to have the potty in the car back seat itself (on the floor of the car) as a back up so that your child can relive himself, if he needs to do so, in the case of any traffic back up.
Have a smooth transition.
