Here is a situation for one of my friend
- He applied for immigration from Middle East through Consultant almost 6 months back
- No reply or feedback from Canada immigration
- He is Chemical Engineer & working with Oil & Gas company
- Rules change for Canada immigration
- Chemical Engineering is not a part of 38 Occupation in the list
What my friend should do?
Can he change category or re-applied in new category?
Options are Petroleum or Geo-technical or mining
What is your advice
Thanks in advance
The Consultant has a list of jobs and openings that are in demand in Canada. He makes the situation known to the applicant as to how to proceed and what categories that he can easily apply and get in. He shows him the avenues and the proper method of applying for a Permanent Resident Visa and how he can help in obtaining the same with the least amount of difficulties and then he gets the application in and gets an acknowledgment within a short period of time. Say three months.
He can even obtain a job in the Paint Industry with his Chemical Engineering. There are other industries such as Pharmaceutical companies that will provide him with an entry level job, if he can qualify for a technicians job. Salary $60,000/pa
See if he can obtain a work permit for him. That will be the easiest and the quickest means of entry. He has to get his papers prepared for his study. The consultant should be able to tell him the curriculum and how to go about it. Let him do the spade work for the dollars paid. Otherwise any tom dick and harry can fill out the application for anyone.
BUT he is now stuck with him for a good period, since he has already paid him in full.
May be your friend has a soft corner for the consultant. Who knows?
Freddie.
