We are planning a trip to Disney Florida in May. As per info gathered from this forums provided we went with CAA for a 7 day package.

We have some questions in regards to food, What are our options! The agent is proposing 2 meals for 69US$ a day (2 adults & 1 Child) for cafeteria style dining, the menu is basically from fast food restaurant. Yes I know we are not going there to eat but atleast would like to have a decent desi meal a day! Any suggestions please.

We are flying out of buffalo any need to rent a car in orlando! there are couches which takes you around but in case!!! Any place apart from Disney in Orlando worth visiting?

Too many confusing parks in Orlando! Which would be the best park to go to on my daughter's birthday!

FastPass! do I add that option to my disney package!

Any more tips, ideas, input..... vagera will be appreciated.

Thanks

We are planning a trip to Disney Florida in May. As per info gathered from this forums provided we went with CAA for a 7 day package.

1) Where are you staying . Inside the disney resorts or in orlando hotels ?
In the Disney resorts you dont need car. There are buses , sky rail to take you from resots and orlando hotels to diff parks

2) There are no desi restaurants inside the park. so carry desi food with you specially if you are vegi.

We are flying out of buffalo any need to rent a car in orlando! there are couches which takes you around but in case!!! Any place apart from Disney in Orlando worth visiting? there are many other palces in Orlando to visit . Just google

Too many confusing parks in Orlando! Which would be the best park to go to on my daughter's birthday!
3) BEst park is MAgic Kingdom for your daughter

FastPass! do I add that option to my disney package!
4) You cannot add fastpass option. you get a fastpass on the rides when you get there.

Any more tips, ideas, input..... vagera will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, Loser has given you very good answers I'll update them a bit

1) If you are staying in a Disney resort no need for commuting, they take care of everything. If you are in a outside hotel, check if they have their own shuttles to and fro parks, if not then you may need to rent a car.

2) There is no Desi food in the parks, though you get Samosas at Disney EPCOT park, where they have stalls of all countries (its named New Delhi and $3 for one samosa)

3) Best park is Magic Kingdom for your daughter-Yes MK is the best for kids!

FastPass! do I add that option to my disney package!
4) Yes, add the option while buying the package. The lines specially at the famous shows/rides are very long and fast pass helps you do them very fast, otherwise you miss a lot of rides standing in lines. Because of FP we managed to see MK in one whole day.

Carry water bottle and you can refill them at parks, sunglasses, sunscreen is must. If your kids are under 5-6 yrs carry stroller or rent it there, it is very tiring to walk with small kids.

Hope it helps....................Jona

There is no fastpass option in advance. Also if it is offseason some rides are down for maintainence. In on season there are long lines for the rides.

If you are planning to see only Disney Parks then most of the Motels have courtesy shuttle running free of charge.

If you plan to see Kennedy Space center or other attractions (like Busch Garden etc.), then rent the car AFTER your Disney park thing is over otherwise your car will be sitting at the Motel parking lot and you will be paying the rent daily.

See the key major attactions in the Disney pak (i.e. amazon jungle ride, haunted house, etc.) early in the morning when line up is short and you are fresh.

Each of the Disney park needs at least one day. Magic Kingdom being the oldest and more fun for kids (and adults too).

Loser, I agree with you FP is activated only after we are in the parks, we can't do advance activation of FP but the OP has asked not for activating FP but buying FP option in advance. FP is included in the cost of your ticket and is bought in advance (the option but is activated only when we are at parks).

Confusing.....!!!
