Goldfinger, great description that's what I meant in the first instance. The points you wrote in my words is process of activating the FP (just the lingo I used to explain loser)!! Yes, FP is not on all rides and is on few famous ones.

Medhora, Carry, haldiram chiwada's, bhujias (if you eat them), I've eaten bread with bhujia sandwich many times. We stayed at Wilderness resort and they provided us a microwave at some extra cost, please check if your resort offers it, atleast the food problem will be solved. I feel first timers to Disney should stay at Disney resorts, you took a good decision.

Loser, I agree with you FP is activated only after we are in the parks, we can't do advance activation of FP but the OP has asked not for activating FP but buying FP option in advance. FP is included in the cost of your ticket and is bought in advance (the option but is activated only when we are at parks).

Confusing.....!!!

Jona

First and foremost the FAST PASS option is not available for all attractions. Say for example there are 15 attractions in a Disney theme park, the FAST PASS option might be available to say 10 of them.

Here's are the options for Fast pass

A) If you're staying in a Disney resort on a vacation package, then your room key (plastic card) can be used as a ticket to the Disney parks and it includes Fast pass with it.

B) If you're not staying in a Disney resort then you can purchase tickets with Fast pass option included with it.

There is no such thing called "activating" Fast pass and here's how it works.

1) Purchase a park ticket with Fast pass included in it.

2) Identify the attractions that have Fast pass option.

3) Go to the attraction and lookout for the Self-service kiosk which says "Fast Pass".

4) Feed your park ticket into the Self-service kiosk and it prints out a ticket with the name of the attraction and time printed on it (which is usually present time + 1 hour).

5) Go on and visit other sections of the theme park

6) Return to the attraction 15 minutes before the printed time and enter the "Fast Pass" line. (The wait time here might vary from 5 to 15 minutes.)

7) Present the ticket, get in and enjoy the attraction.

8) Repeat steps (2) to (7) for all attractions that have Fast pass option.

If you don't return to the attraction on the specified time mentioned on the ticket, then your ticket goes waste and you got to print a new ticket from the Self-service kiosk again. There is no charge for this.

Just to clarify.

Yes we are staying at the POP disney resort and the time frame is 1 week. We have 7 days worth of pass and we have declined the park hopper option but would like to include the fastpass as suggested by Jona (Thanks) so will not spend long hours in line. The agent told us no use for park hopper as we would take a whole day for sure to complete one park.

I have a 7 year old and yes the stroller idea is great as well, Thanks.

This only leaves the concern of food as we have no options of desi foods :( for a week to survive on fast food will be difficult.

They currently have a promotion of 3 nights FREE from March to June. Please check for details at http://www.disneyworld.ca/3free" rel="nofollow">LINK . I think it is for non-discounted hotel + theme park ticket package.

Enjoy.
