Hello Folks,

I had to renew my PR card with rest of the family , we have received letters to pick up our cards on different dates for some reason (Toronto, St. Clair Office) .

- My card pick-up date is one day earlier than rest of the family , can I go one day late than the date mentioed on my letter to go there with my family ?

- My mother lost her landing papers and applied for certified copy from cic, but haven't received that so far, will she be able to pick her renewed PR card without original landing paper (she doesnt even have a photo-copy)?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Yes, the date mentioned in the letter is the first date your new PR Card is available.
You can pick it up any day until 6 months.

Did they ask her to bring original record of landing in the letter (the pink letter for PR card pickup)?
If they didn't then there is no need.
If they did, then it's better to wait because usually they're rather strict about documents.
Also, if she has her old PR card still with her, that might work in lieu of the record of landing.
Call the CIC toll free number and ask.

I think you can at least try with other documents and showing that you have applied for a copy of IMM 1000 -- nothing to loose in trying . They might give it .
