I took the test a month ago and was VERY PLEASANTLY surprised by how simple it was...ALL the sample tests that we saw were FAR TOUGHER than the actual test. Question: Do you know ANY desi in Canada who has failed this test? Given the fact that most desis over here are highly educated and speak good English I would find it VERY surprising if even a single one failed!

HI Sridar123...

congratulation for passing the test, u are right the test is very easy and every one should pass the test, on the other hand as u know the answer sheet is a computer readable and it is very easy to make "unintentional mistake" by marking the wrong number specially No 16 -17 if they just by mistake marke just one wrong they won't pass the test and some older people get a bit confused because they never had this kind of test.
did u get the letter to appear for the oath ?

Thxs

Hi Jhon & Sridhar

Just to let you know that it seems that they may have chnaged the procedure or is could be a one time thing depending on the person incharge of conducting test. My wife's friend went to the Citizenship Test today at the Scarborough Town Centre and the incharge told them that he would tell every one the result immediately after the test.

Not only did he tell them the result but also issued letters to all qualified candidates informing them to attend the Oath Ceremony on 27th March.
If that is the case and they are conducting Oath faster now, then I hope every one who has appeared in the test recently would be called for the Oath Ceremony as early as possible.

Keeping you informed.

I know few desis who failed the test.... but it's not a big deal. If anyone fail the test he/she will be called to have an interview with Immigration Judge. Judge will ask few very easy questions and approve your application.

Thanks and regards.

I had a friend of mine who was unable to take the test on that date because of personal reasons. He had to meet the judge , what he said was that the judge was extremely rude , he yelled so loudly at the guy who went in before my friend , then he yelled at my friend when he didn't answer one of the question right. My friend advised me to take the test and NOT go before a judge!

Hi pramod chopra....

U always bring good news to the dissussion u get in...the person or the in charge for testing that day might be the immigration or citizenship officer so he has the right to issue confirmation letter for the oath. on the day i did the test i think was a reqular employee i did ask him i i could know the test result he said now way he only can put the sheet inside the machine and it will tell how many answer is correct. but he prefered not to tell any one , well with this inf u got i might receive the letter within a month from now that's another great news

thanks
