Hi group

I would like to take my mother for a blood sugar test and eye test. She does not have OHIP as she is here only on a visit visa. Can any of you suggest a good place to take her for these 2 tests. We live in Mississauga at Dixie & Rathburn. Any help is highly appreciated.

I don't know about that particular area, but we got bloodwork, etc. done at CML labs before we had OHIP coverage.
If I recall, it wasn't very expensive.
The one we used to go to was near Eglinton and Don Mills mall

This thread has raised a question. What kind of insurance do we buy for our parents who are visiting for a few months. I know about blue cross but find there premiums very high.

I have got insurance for my parents from company called iffco/tokoi. They got it from india. I was wondering if at all my dad has to go through an operation of eye motia (they call it glaucoma i think) what is the procedure over here for operation.
