Hello Guys,

I have been hearing of lot student VISA for canada getting rejected, even mine got denied....

is it an effect of recession? as all the cases which got rejection were good and were going for good universitites in canada?


Also, I hav anoather question if you could help....if you have a rejection of student VISA for canada and you already have your PR filed, would this rejection have any kinda influence on PR decision by CHC?

No, that shouldn't affect your PR file. But, if you have filed your PR application then it can affect your student visa application. Bcz, you would have to prove that you will be back once your student visa is over.

I dont think recession has any effect on student visa,infact they want more money and more students.

Thanks a lot for your reply....i think this is exactly what happened in my case and i believe my consultant should have taken care of this point which he failed to...
just a thought after reading your reply....doyou think i should reapply? however, m really scared of another rejection now...can you advise me the way out from here????canada is my preferred country of study...i don't want to go newhere else...

Have some patience Himanshu, dont rush things, i know u r excited to come here, but things should go step by step. Better not to reapply as i have friends who got rejected and they reapply and they get rejected again and again and u will waste ur money too. Nowadays they processed the file faster than before

so your suggestion is to wait for PR????
i filed my case in dec 2007, i m not sure how long it will take.......as per experience it will be more than three years however my interest to come to canada was for study, i had prepared myself for study..i would not mind coming back to india after my study and wait for my PR......is there no hope in reapplication??
m soorryy i know i m kinda freaking outtt...but i m really upset with my consultant bcoz of their lack of knowledge m suffering.....
