Hi,
I came to Canada on a student permit in 2006 (post grad course), once finished i got a post graduate work permit for 1 yr and once it expired i got into the normal work permit(2 yrs) after a positive Labour Market opinion was received from HRDC.
I am planning to apply for PR soon. I plan to take up the IELTS test, and then along with the necessary papers file in. Whereas a lot of my friends suggest that i should file in my papers immediately and once am requested for IELTS score / Language Assessment - i should then go for IELTS and present (mail)the marksheet with scores to CIC.
Please suggest me as to what should i do? Follow my friends advice and file in right now or should i give IELTS exam and mail in my scores with the rest of the documents? Taking up the exam and getting the scores will take me almost to 15 - 20th June.
Also i am planning to apply under the Skilled Category as i have a positive labour market opinion and can claim points for arranged employment. The Experience (Fresh Grads) class would not have this option.
Waiting on suggestions to this query of mine.
Thanks
Viki
