The area around Brampton, Jane&Finch has become a very dangerous place with mafia style murders, shoot outs and other related crimes.
I do not where/when it is all going to END?.

It would be interesting to corroborate speculation with some facts and figures. Personally I don't think the GTA is unsafe.
One thing that has certainly bothered me is child related criminal activities. Just so sad...

Relatively unsafe to what? I don't understand your question.
And regarding you hearing more of those craps ... well .. could be you paying a bit too much attention to such news. Or could be because we have access to 100s of news channels and 1000s of news websites. Things were lot different just 5 yrs back. Crime has always been on this planet. But with multiple websites and news channels, it gets magnified multiple times, fast enough.
I stopped watching local news, those news that give the starting news clipping of any violence, a while ago. I don't think I am missing anything.
Besides this, it's a free country. It's a free world. Evils are all around. Try implanting good qualities in future generations. That's the best we can do.

STAFF REPORTERS
A man is dead after being shot behind a Mississauga condominium last night.
Emergency crews were called to 4205 Shipp Dr., southeast of Rathburn Rd. and Hurontario St., around 10 p.m. to respond to a shooting.
"We found a male who had been shot. Paramedics rushed him to hospital but despite their efforts, he died," said Peel Const. Wayne Patterson.
Police are not releasing the victim’s name or age until family is notified.
Patterson declined to say if the man was a resident of the building.
Witnesses told police three suspects, described as black males, fled the area following the gunshots, and two vehicles were spotted speeding away from the area.
Police are searching for a dark-coloured Mercedes SUV and a 4-door, silver passenger vehicle.
Investigators have closed Shipp as they try to piece together what happened, and officers are canvassing the area in hopes of finding witnesses or security cameras that captured the shooting.
Mehroon Hamid left her 27th-floor unit this morning to find police cars swarming the building’s parking lot.
"I was surprised. I heard nothing (last night)," said Hamid, who has lived in the condominium for five years.
She hasn’t been aware of any violence around the building in the past.
"I think it’s a safe area, but things happen," she said.
A post-mortem is expected to be completed today.
The shooting marks Peel’s eighth homicide this year and the second killing in Mississauga since Saturday.
Police arrived at a townhouse on Glen Erin Dr. in Meadowvale around 1 a.m. Saturday to find the bludgeoned body of Helen Slichta. The 71-year-old woman’s daughter and granddaughter were also injured in the attack.
Horace Everton Weekes, 59, has been charged with first-degree murder, as well as two counts of attempted murder and assault.

That still dosnt prove anything. Whats your point Vande. Does that mean GTA is not safe.....One offs always happen, unless you have statistics to provide that show a crime spree happening every day..
agree with above poster .. relative to what?
GTA is of course safer than India. Of course likely more unsafe than remote areas in Canada or countries like Switzerland. So what's the comparison??
