Two years ago my cousin went to a circus (free tickets) and I sent my son with them. They stood three hours in the line and finally came back without seeing. That how this free stuff works most of the time.

I visited the circus with my family last Saturday, with free passes, at the North York location. I did not experience any lineups. We had a very good experience.

I think attending events with free passes is still not bad as they are distributed in a limited quantity.

I do agree with you on general free stuff like free icecreams, free burgers, super reduced ticket prices for one specific day (e.g. Ontario Place), where the lineups are just not worth it...

...and so... is there a problem with my post...or...was it just a warning for the members. The post was probably locked since it was a one time thing and I updated the post as soon as the tickets were gone. So it didn't make sense for the post to stay open.

G13 got the tickets from me and he emailed me a thank-you note after he visited. Infact I gave 9 passes to a colleague at work.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Could you provide additional details why your family stood 3 hrs in line (was it to long, or...) etc.
