Does it address exisiting petitions or future petitions once the bill is passed?
Prioritize Immediate Family Households. The RAISE Act would retain immigration preferences for the spouses and minor children of U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents.
Eliminated would be green card categories for foreign citizens who are:
Adult parents of U.S. citizens
Adult brothers and sisters of U.S. citizens
Unmarried adult sons & daughters of U.S. citizens
Married adult sons & daughters of U.S. citizens
Unmarried adult sons & daughters of legal permanent residents
Would this apply to just new applications or would it apply to all pending applications
The current system is in existence since 1780. These two Senators who are stirring up the hornets nest will not get re-elected any more. They are done. Where does that leave TURRUMPH. Up the Shit Creek without a paddle.
And you think the Lawyers and the Rest of the people who are affected, will take it lying low? C'mon... They will test it in the COURTS before it will even get close to getting passed.
They are only thinking about this new system currently. It does not matter to me which way it swings. I will be a spectator watching the way it goes. It does not affect us one bit.
FH.
The ones that are in the system MUST Follow the OLD Method. That is the Rule.

Both senators are from Red state so that's all fine. Bringing million of poor uneducated tax payer dependent people from third world country is not good idea but good for democrats/liberal voting bank. The bigger unaccounted govt, free healthcare, free food, free education, free home and free this/that maybe free for some but someone has to pay.
Raise Act will determine the need of immigrant for a available job and no govt support for 5 years.
