Its been longs since I last asked something in this section.
This is for a friend of mine.
My friend is currently on a graduate work permit and is qualified for CEC (Canadian Exprience Class) application.
He has a full time job where he works 40 hours/week, and also has a part time job where he works about 25 hours/week. Both of his jobs are qualified (valid NOC) under CEC work experience requirements.
As per CEC work experience requirements (as a graduate), 'One must have obtained the equivalent of 12 months of full-time or full-time equivalent (37.5 hours a week) Canadian skilled work experience'.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/graduates.asp#work" target="_blank">http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/graduates.asp#work</a>
He has gained 12 months equivalent work experience in 8 months since he works 65 hours in a week (for 2 different company), so can he apply under CEC before completing physically presence of 12 months experience at his full time job ?
Will they consider a combined work experience (2 different jobs) ?
Second question,
Can he change his employer?
I mean, can he work 6 months for one company and then work for another company for the other 6 months and show the total of 12 months of full time work experience?
Thanks in advance.
