The main alarm module is having rechargeable battery ( it is always connected to a live power source to keep battery fully charge) , which lasts for 2 years. Door Sensors and Key pad are having normal alkaline batteries, these batteries last for one year. So first of all this alarm will work without any problem during any power outage, secondly I replace batteries in my CO and smoke detectors twice a year so replacing batteries once a year in keypad and sensor should not be a problem.

This is what I read about Alarm force:
1.Alarm Force relies on a simple plug in alarm module that does not take control of the phone line.All the rest of module are wireless and require battries to be changes periodically which is not covered or done by alarmforce.
2.It takes almost 2 mintues before 2 way voice kicks in and half of time you can hardly understand what they say.
In real terms, by the time they use the 2 way, they find out you can't verify the password, then call your cell phone, 5-10 minutes has already gone by before they even call the police!When police get the call, almost 15 mins has gone by!By then, burglar has taken your valuables.
3.When the 2 way voice system is to be used, you need to come close to the control panel to communicate and put yourslef in danger.
4.Alarm force has "rent a cop"....a private security guy.Alarmforce does'nt make any promise that police will respond-just that dispatch, whether by police or private response services is not gauranteed.
I don't the authenticity of above information but just sharing what I found.

RESP, i think all companies try to put the other companies down.May be you are right about alarmforce.ADT tecnician said we also give lifetime warranty.Also, he said I have worked with alamforce for many years and I can tell u that ADT equipment is much better than alamforce.
ANyone using ADT can PM me and get some benefit for referal but have to do it today as I m getting installation done tomorrow.
