Where is the justice, if for one moment we believe that AQ did the 9/11 (one can find enough proof on the Internet that 9/11 was an inside job) why kill millions of Iraqis and Afghanis....which religion preaches that kind of violence....and wanton killing ....I have seen so much sympathy for people killed in 9/11 but I hardly see anybody even mentioning about the millions killed in retaliation....Some People JUST CHOOSE to IGNORE some lives.... As they say in hindi “Apna khoon, khoon doosron ka paani.”
For me murder is murder and killing is killing whether 9/11, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan or Kashmir, Mumbai or Gujarat....Unfortunately not everyone views it that way....

Why is there Islamic phobia / terrorism in the world ? Why not Christian terrorism / Buddhist terrorism .... because terrorism accompanies fundamentalism ...
I agree being less / non religious is the way to go ... but some people may not share our views .....
How can people be so much incited so as to kill other innocent people in bomb blasts and suicide bombings ? There s a misleading force some where ... which does not preach peace ..
Fido, there were atrocities committed even before 9/11.
Clearly you are not saying its only the Muslims are to blame for all this current carnage?

Speaks in itself how the world views them .... The world as it stands today is an indicator of Islamic in tolerance and fundamentalism ......
Its a centuries old ancient faith .... which teaches intolerance towards other religions and discards co existence of all faiths together ... Where ever you have Islamic fundamentalists there s problem ... be it India / Russia / Phillippines ........ you name it ...
How can you justify the 26/11 or the numerous suicide bombings taking place .... the fallacy lies in the structure which preaches religious war / Jihad against Kafirs or non believers in the faith and some fools ( not all ) believing in that and thinking that they would earn a place in the heaven by killing others ....... There s a huge fallacy in the doctrine itself.....
Look at the ratio of minorities in India and in Pakistan before and after partition and you will realize the intolerance factor ...
The problem is ( as I see it ) that the faith dictates every part of one s life and needs one to be glued to it ........ open your eyes and mind and judge for yourself whats right and what s not in stead of believing what had been written in a different era and perhaps for a different generation .... Thats blind faith ......
As already said , the less religious one is , the irony is the better he / she tends to be .

This is exactly the same argument made by Osama bin laden, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, Yaseer Arafat, Gen.Musharaff, Kasab, Haroon Siddiqui(Toronto star) or any ordinary Abdul in this planet for waging war on the free world.
You have answered your own question in regards to causes of terrorism.
Even if this thread runs into next 90 pages, no amount of reasoning or logic will have convinced you.
Sadly, I believe normal relations with the Islamic world or a person of Islamic faith is a thing of the past. I see this sentiment echoed in the chat rooms, drawing rooms and party halls all over.

It is human nature to view the things from short term perspective (because we are selfish by nature). History is full of such instances. Nehru adopted Soviet model and India is still paying for his follies while Nehru is enjoying in the Hell with Hoories. Henry Kissinger unleashed a monster by promoting China - just to teach a lesson to Indira. Now USA is paying price for that.
All this discussion on terrorism is useless unless one recognizes that Islam is going to rule the world. Well, we can not see now (or I will say are not willing to see). In 40 years hence, they will be ruling not only in Gulf and Africa but in Europe and will be controlling Govt of India and Canada. With the possible exception of USA, China, Japan and USSR, they will be ruling the rest of the world. Our energy should be directed in finding viable solution to co exist with Islamist rather than critisizing them. If someone has doubt about what I have stated, please make Google search about Islamist power after 40 years and then argue.
