I am a new member to this site. Thanks to Masood ji and all others for
the wonderful information. Inspite of doing my homework well (read all the threads on Immigration), I couldnot find an answer to my query. Hence posting it here. This is related to the PR eligibility points for
adability related to "Relatives".
-> Can my Father's Uncle (Chachaji), who is a Canadian citizen for 20+
years, be counted as my "Relative" giving me the associated 5 points?
FYI, me and my husband would be applying for our PR (my husband as
Primary applicant) from Canada after we land up there on our study permits this Fall.
Thanks in advance.

Andrew Miller can answer it. I am afraid you cannot. But your father could have if he applies.

Can Immig Law says that Your "Uncle" can sponsor You. India mein every relative that doesn't have a specific designation is an "Uncle"
Maybe the CIC people will agree and award You points for Your "Uncle".
Seriously, only Masood can answer this question correctly.
