If I am not mistaken, Chandresh stated that he is not making "as much money" as he was; he did not say he was on welfare and dependant on the "benevelont" tax payers.

I tried to explain him(As he said I should leave) who should leave (The one who makes money hardly and pay very very less tx or the one who pay huge tax and still serve his motherland indirectly). U better decide.

I agree you do and there are numerous issues with this country. For one, I simply don't like the dairy prices that I now shop in the US for dairy.

Anyway, you also cloud your argument with a pre-determined bias/emotion that results in few of your responses appearing convoluted. For instance, I did offer few facts (not observations or opinions) on why/how the old age pension is structured (in another thread). Still, you continue to somehow respond by saying it's discriminatory.

Now this is getting funnier rather than nastier!!!! I pity your knowledge of language, economics and courtesies

Let's start:

Where the hell (and I use this phrase only if I come across a moronic statement) did you get an idea from that I am not making money? Did I tell you that or did you check my tax returns (which by the way has more tax payable than would be on the money I earn in Canada!!! - I hope you get what I mean)?

If u haven't made any contribution then it does not mean others are like u. No country can be built without money. I am fully satisfied that I contribute a lot for my motherland (By means of money outflow) and pay huge tax here to bear the burden of people like who can just talk and still hesitate to speak about the problems here.

Never heard of something like making a contribution to a country by helping in outflow of money from that country. So you make a contribution to your motherland by outflow of money from your motherland - that's funny. Can you please enlighten me on the economic principle you use to make that statement? (by the way - a related question - where is your mother? In your motherland or your land?)

Can you please elaborate on the 'typical mentality'? I am a typical man, nothing special, so I guess I would have a typical mentality - but would like to know what you mean by this word. I am sure it must be different than a moronic mentality.

Oh, is this a quote? I did not know that. Who said these words? I was all my life under the impression that it is a saying but am pleased to find it is a quote.

How will becoming greedy help in that - totally unfathomable. Please enlighten.

Why should I accept it silently........I think if you find good in something, someone, somewhere, you should always let the others know it.

3. Another problem I see that most of the people try to compare India and Canada in various aspects. For comparison u need to put both countries on same table India which has population 35 times and much less area that of Canada is beyond comparison. If u like simulation then just imagine if we have same population here then this country will be thousand times worse. So do not bring India into picture when u discuss the issues we got here.

What simulation takes a ratio of 1:35 and brings a result of 1:1000 (you say that make the population of Canada 35 times, and it will become 1000 times worse - meaning each additional individual will increase the prolems by about 30 times??) Though frankly, reading your posts make me feel that this might actually happen! - meaning that you could increase the problems 30 fold or so)

How do you know I make less money than you?

Yeah it could be (not certain, but could be) true that I pay less tax than you....that is called efficient tax planning and financial management.

This is how I see Canada.

Land of Opportunity, money, healthcare, education – This are actually plus points

But this is just in the beginning but then I noticed we have to fight hard every day until we retire. I realized how stress-full this can be. You cannot make much progress on spiritual level, social level, etc, since to keep your job going (plus family responsibilities, etc) leaves no time for any other aspects of life.

The money seemed good in the beginning because of our instincts of converting everything to rupee terms. But, the money now seems good enough only to pay all regular bills.

The positive thing, of course, is the Canadian medical system which is still lot more reliable than Indian. In India, you have to know good doctors. Here too, bad doctors are there but even they meet certain minimum standards.

Overall, Canada is not all that great, but I have to live somewhere. Going back to India has its own problems. So, live with the evil you know, than the one you don't know enough.
